Guild Of Dungeoneering is a turn-based dungeon crawler. Build a dungeon around your heroes and entice them into fighting for you. Bribe them and coax them into restoring your guild back to glory. It sounds similar to Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2, but it is actually a 2D dungeon builder with a hand-drawn aesthetic.
Plenty to discover and play with
The more you learn about the different heroes, the different classes and how combat cards work, then the more interesting the game becomes. Guild of Dungeoneering is rather easy because you can use the same building and coaxing methods for each time. It is a shame that your heroes revert to level one every time you enter a new dungeon, but one fears that your characters may be too overpowered near the end of the game if they maintained their level and powers. The backgrounds, aesthetics and graphics may not be to everybody’s taste, so watch a few trailers before you decide to buy.
Use tactics in the manner that suits you
Guild Of Dungeoneering is a weird game in that you can make it more or less fun depending upon how you play. You may build strategically placed rooms and exploit your advantage, or you can build a big mess and still win the game. The more diligent and meticulous you are, the more fun there is to be had, especially when a plan comes together and works the way you want.
